Corset Sculpture III

From studing Elizabethen corsets the concept for these sculptures was developed.

In this version silk paper hand dyed has been machine stitched with channels. Twigs some with their leaves are used as the padding.

A candle sits behind and create a second element where you can see the shape of the twigs incased in the fabric.

Really like the organic shapes which can be created.
